Grants and Funding

First established by National Monuments Service in 2020, the annual Community Monuments Fund (CMF) aims to conserve, maintain, protect and promote local monuments and historic sites.

Operated by the Irish Research Council and supported by National Monuments Service funding, INSTAR+ will address key knowledge gaps in Irish archaeology.

The RIA manages a suite of archaeology research grant schemes, with the support of National Monuments Service funding.
