Traces: The Archaeology of Small Things

NATIONAL MONUMENTS SERVICE 7th ANNUAL ARCHAEOLOGY CONFERENCE

Archaeologists glean a lot from small things—minuscule pollen grains or small everyday artefacts tell stories of a peopled landscape; the finer details of medieval metalwork and manuscripts illuminate the work of skilled craftspeople and the senses of sound, taste and smell can reveal some surprises.

This conference is presented by the National Monuments Service of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage in partnership with the Office of Public Works and organised by Wordwell | Archaeology Ireland.
