"Advice to the Public on the Archaeological Potential of Caves" (PDF, 3MB) was launched at the 30th Annual Speleological Union of Ireland Symposium, Kilcoran Lodge, Cahir, Co. Tipperary on 25th October 2014.
The advice leaflet is a joint initiative between the National Monuments Service, the National Museum of Ireland in collaboration with Speleological Union of Ireland (SUI). The leaflet is aimed at increasing awareness of the archaeological potential of caves and outlines best practice in reporting of archaeological discoveries.
